Single sided adhesive is mainly used to facilitate the installation and bonding of thermal conductive silicone. Therefore, single-sided adhesive is used to stick the adhesive side of the thermal conductive silicone on the PCB board and the other side on the shell.
The benefits of single-sided adhesive of thermal conductive silicone film: It can stick to the surface of the heater on one side, and when there is relative sliding of the heat sink or shell during assembly, the thermal conductive silicone film will not produce positional deviation.
The influence of single-sided adhesive on thermal conductive silicone film: The thermal conductivity will decrease, but the effect is better than that of double-sided adhesive.
Based on the analysis above, it can be concluded that providing thermal conductive silicone sheets with both single-sided and double-sided adhesive will result in a decrease in thermal conductivity.
